These last few years have been full of challenges and we know that with each release of new health guidance it forces all of us to make adjustments as we take steps, together, towards a new normal. A key part of CVUSD’s COVID-19 Safety Plan is our commitment to and adherence of the COVID-19 requirements and guidance from county and state health officials. Wednesday, March 9th the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) provided updated guidance documents that will go into effect Saturday, March 12, 2022 for K-12 schools.
CVUSD Child Care is proud to offer 2022 Summer Camp programs for children in grades K-5 at four CVUSD elementary school locations. Registration for current CVUSD Child Care families is March 7 through March 11. Registration for all other families begins on March 14.
Each year, National Women's History Month offers an opportunity to honor the legacy of women who have built, shaped and improved the Nation. CVUSD is proud to recognize the accomplishments of women this March, and all year through.
Today, Monday, February 28, Governor Newsom’s Administration announced the State’s requirement for student masking in schools will expire at 11:59pm Friday, March 11, 2022. Therefore, beginning on Monday March 14, 2022, students are no longer required to wear a mask at school, regardless of vaccination status. Students may opt to wear a mask and masks will remain available. It is important to note that masks remain required, while indoors, on our CVUSD campuses through the end of the school day on Friday, March 11, 2022.
Read Across America Week is a national celebration of reading that begins on Monday, February 28, 2022. CVUSD is firmly committed to promoting reading as the catalyst for our students' future academic successes. Throughout this special week our CVUSD school sites will engage in special events and activities with our students to celebrate the importance of books and reading.
