These annual recognitions are bestowed to a 5th grade student from each CVUSD elementary school and an 8th grade student from each CVUSD middle school. Students are chosen for the award for successfully demonstrating good citizenship by helping others, for making a contribution to the school and community, and for being a role model to others.
