Summer School Opportunities for CVUSD High School Students

Conejo Valley Unified School District is proud to support its students’ diverse academic needs and ambitions. The following are popular accredited summer school options, although the list is not exhaustive. Course work completed at other accredited institutions will be eligible for placement on the high school transcript. Students may choose to enroll in a summer school program for acceleration and/or credit recovery purposes.

Families of high school students are invited to learn more about the AVID program for the 2022-2023 school year in the Conejo Valley Unified School District. This is a video recording of an informational meeting about the AVID program at our CVUSD comprehensive high schools that was held on Thursday, March 10th via zoom. AVID is a student-centered program designed to close the opportunity gap by preparing all students for college, career, and life.

Exciting Update: TK at Conejo Elementary Will Be Part of the Spanish-English Dual Language Immersion Program Launch Next School Year

The Conejo Valley’s first Spanish-English Dual Language Immersion Program arrives August 2022 to Conejo Elementary School! It was previously announced that the program would be available to kindergarten students, and we are excited to share that TK at Conejo Elementary will also be part of the Dual Language Immersion Program launch for the 2022-2023 school year.

Extended 2018 Birth Dates Now Eligible to Apply to Enroll in Transitional Kindergarten

The Conejo Valley Unified School District is excited to share that per Board of Education action at the Tuesday, March 15th Board of Education meeting, children with birth dates through August 31, 2018 are now eligible to apply to enroll in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) in the CVUSD!

CVUSD's Parent Outreach Program proudly presents the 8th Annual Conference for Spanish Speaking Parents: My Identity - "Who perseveres, wins," My journey as an immigrant student and as a community organizer / Mi Identidad "El que persevera, alcanza," Mi historia como estuidante emigrante y como organizadora comunitaria on Thursday, March 24th at 6pm via Zoom. This virtual conference will feature Erica Fernandez M.A., Educational and Environmental Justice Advocate as the guest speaker. English translation will be available upon request.
