Please join our Parent Outreach Program on Thursday, April 22nd at 6pm for their April Outreach Conference: "La Lectura Enriquece La Mente y Abre Las Puertas del Futuro / Reading Enriches Our Minds and Opens Doors to the Future." The guest speaker is Angel Lerma M. E.D., an author, who will devote his time to talk about parenting and the importance of reading. I hope you had a restful and safe spring break. As we begin the home stretch towards the culmination of the 2020-2021 school year, we are excited to have our students return to campus and to continue to provide remote learning opportunities to those who have requested it.

As we look ahead, planning and safety remains at the forefront. It is with these two key factors in mind that I share this extremely important and exciting update with you: Conejo Valley Unified School District anticipates the 2021-2022 school year will begin with a return to full-day, on-campus (Pre-COVID) learning schedules for students of all grade levels.

Community Service Opportunity: Apply to Serve on the CVUSD Measure I Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee

Conejo Valley Unified School District is seeking interested individuals to serve on its Independent Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee. The committee is charged with informing the public concerning the District’s expenditure of Measure I bond proceeds, reviewing expenditure reports, and preparation and presentation of an annual report. The committee meets at least once per year, but not more frequently than monthly.

Registration for CVUSD Child Care for the 2021-2022 School Year Begins this April

Registration for Fall 2021 CVUSD Child Care begins April 1st for families who currently have a student(s) enrolled in Child Care, and begins on April 13th at 7:30am for new families.  Child Care is available to students in grades TK to 5th grade, Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm at elementary school sites.

On Tuesday, March 23rd, CVUSD's BreakThrough Student Assistance Program and the Conejo Schools Foundation hosted an online workshop - "Marijuana: What You Need to Know." Presentations were given by professionals from Los Robles Regional Medical Center, Ventura County Behavioral Health and the Thousand Oaks Police Department.
