CVUSD proudly celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month: September 15th to October 15th. National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated nationwide to honor the contributions of Latino and Hispanic Americans. Resolution #21/22-04 in support of National Hispanic Heritage Month was approved at the Tuesday, August 10, 2021 Board of Education meeting.

CVUSD to Launch Communications Committee - Application Now Available

The Conejo Valley Unified School District is seeking individuals who are passionate about marketing and communications to serve on the inaugural Communications Committee. The purpose of the Conejo Valley Unified School District Communications Committee is to discuss ongoing districtwide communication efforts and initiatives, and for members to work collaboratively and creatively with the District's Communications team to promote the extensive offerings and unique opportunities available to students in our CVUSD schools and programs. Applicants must be parents/guardians of a current CVUSD student and/or an employee of CVUSD.

The Conejo Valley Unified School District is excited to announce the creation of the African American Parent Advisory Council (AAPAC). CVUSD recognizes the importance of serving our African American students and families, and the creation of the AAPAC will provide opportunities for families to engage with district staff, and collaborate to develop a shared understanding of family and community needs. An informational webinar will be held on Monday, August 30th at 6:00 PM to provide further information about the AAPAC.

Terri Culpepper Named New Principal of Westlake Elementary School

On Tuesday, August 3rd the Conejo Valley Unified School District Board of Education announced that Terri Culpepper is the new Principal of Westlake Elementary School. Mrs. Culpepper has been an educator with the District for more than two decades. Mrs. Culpepper possesses a unique breadth of talents and expertise that makes her a great match to lead the Wizards school community forward.
