The California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) is a state-wide survey sponsored by CDE that is administered by 1,037 California school districts. CHKS is not a CVUSD designed survey. CVUSD utilizes this information to develop important programs that address the health, safety, and well being of our students. CHKS has been administered biennially in CVUSD since 1999.
National Black History Month is a time to celebrate and commemorate the roles African Americans have made in the history of our country; and to also acknowledge the profound contributions African Americans have made economically, culturally, and socially to the development of United States history.
The CVUSD Preschool Program offers full day and half day, cost-free State Preschool classes for income eligible families at three of our preschool program locations in the Conejo Valley. CVUSD Preschool is a play-based program with an emphasis on the child's social and emotional development.
