Students in the Spotlight: Three Westlake High School Students Earn Rare “Perfect” AP Scores!

Conejo Valley Unified School District is proud to highlight three Westlake High School students who earned “perfect” scores on a college-level Advanced Placement (AP) Exam in spring 2021.

Advanced Placement Exams are scored on a scale of 1 to 5. The students listed below received the top score of 5. Furthermore, they were among an elite group of students in the world to earn every point possible on an AP Exam, receiving the maximum score on each portion of the exam.

Anna Chung, WHS Class of 2021, was one of only 335 students in the world to earn every point possible on the AP Computer Science Principles Exam.

Emma Fong, current 12th grade student at WHS, was one of only 219 students in the world to earn every point possible on the AP Drawing Exam.

Matthew Zhang, current 10th grade student at WHS, was one of only 335 students in the world to earn every point possible on the AP Computer Science Principles Exam.

These extraordinary academic accomplishments are a direct reflection of Westlake High School’s hard-working students and the devoted AP teachers who have successfully engaged and challenged students with college-level materials.

Congratulations Anna, Emma and Matthew!
