Students Supporting Students! CVUSD's Online Tutoring Program Launches for the 2021-22 School Year
Students supporting students is at the center of CVUSD's Online Tutoring Program. First launched in May of 2020, this FREE program gives families of CVUSD students the opportunity to schedule online tutoring appointments with CVUSD high school student tutors and California Lutheran University volunteer student tutors. Tutoring sessions may be booked online and are available in a variety of different subject areas, with each tutoring appointment lasting 45 minutes. We are proud to offer bilingual tutors on demand. To meet the demand, and serve as many students as possible, we ask that you not book more than two appointments per student per week.
To schedule an appointment, parents/guardians will need to complete the following steps:
Step One: Go to: https://conejousd.org/CVUSD-Student-Tutors and enter the username and password provided to you via email from your student's school site
Step Two: Use the "Choose Your Grade Level" options to select the grade level of your student who would like to book a tutoring session.
Step Three: Review the list of available tutors. Select the "Book Tutor" button under the name/bio of the student that you would like to book a tutoring appointment with. Complete the online form to schedule the appointment with a tutor.
Step Four: The student tutor will reach out to you via the email you provide with a Zoom link for your appointment.
*Please Note: An adult must be in the room during the tutor session. To meet the demand, and serve as many students as possible, we ask that you not book more than two appointments per student per week.
We are so grateful for our phenomenal student tutor volunteers!
