CVUSD Celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month

CVUSD proudly celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month: September 15th to October 15th. National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated nationwide to honor the contributions of Latino and Hispanic Americans. Resolution #21/22-04 in support of National Hispanic Heritage Month was approved at the Tuesday, August 10, 2021 Board of Education meeting.

National Hispanic Heritage Month began as a week-long observance in 1968, expanded to a month-long observance in 1988 and was enacted into law that same year on the approval of Public Law 100-402.
