Congratulations to Westlake High School Student Bella: ACSA Region 13 - Every Student Succeeding Award Recipient

It is with great pride that we share Bella, a 12th grade student at Westlake High School, has been selected as the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) Region 13 Every Student Succeeding award recipient for 2021. ACSA Region 13 encompasses Ventura County, Santa Barbara County, and San Luis Obispo.

Each year, ACSA recognizes 19 pre-K-adult students, one from each geographic region, as well as two California adult education students with the Every Student Succeeding award, for overcoming the odds and achieving success.

Westlake High School Principal, Jason Branham and Westlake High School Counselor, Amy Kirksey nominated Bella for her positivity and perseverance during challenging times.

Bella will be honored at ACSA’s annual Leadership Summit Every Student Succeeding event in November.

“Bella’s courage and compassion will take her far in life, and all of us in Region 13 wish her every success,” said Rene Rickard, ACSA Region 13 President.

Congratulations, Bella!
