Congratulations Brynn Hutchison - Our November 2020 Teacher of the Month!
Brynn Hutchison is an exceptional CVUSD educator, who works hard to build connections. She is creative, innovative and recognizes the importance of being flexible. An educator with the District for more than a decade, we are proud to recognize Mrs. Hutchison as our November 2020 Teacher of the Month!
Mrs. Hutchison is currently a SHINE Homeschool teacher, and in previous years taught grades 3-5 at Banyan Elementary School. At Banyan she lent her creativity and artwork to the school PBIS program ROAR. She’s also known as a “hand-raiser,” having tirelessly participated in nearly every committee at the school.
She puts in countless hours making her classroom an inviting environment and attending events such as dance recitals and various sports games to cheer on current and former students. She is the kind of teacher that students come back to visit years after they have graduated from her classroom.
Mrs. Hutchison is a team player. She takes time to help colleagues, especially in the area of technology where she really shines. She recognizes the importance of flexibility, not just for the students but also for herself.
She pushes her students to think critically and challenges them to improve in all areas. She is dedicated to always doing the right things for her students, even if it makes her job more challenging.
Mrs. Hutchison is dedicated to making a difference on and off campus, having donated her artwork to raise money for the local community affected by recent tragic events.
On Wednesday, November 4th the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce, and the Conejo Valley Unified School District surprised Mrs. Hutchison with the November 2020 Teacher of the Month recognition during a virtual staff meeting. Dr. Mark McLaughlin, CVUSD Superintendent of Schools, presented Mrs. Hutchison with a “virtual commemorative plaque” (a plaque will be delivered to Mrs. Hutchison). Thank you Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce for your continued partnership for the Teacher of the Month Recognition program. Congratulation Mrs. Hutchison!
