Congratulations Pam Warner of Maple Elementary - Our June 20202 Teacher of the Month!
Pam Warner of Maple Elementary School is a joyful, spirited and kind-hearted educator. A third grade teacher with 24 years in the District, her heart and soul goes into everything she does at Maple, for students, her peers, and the entire school community. The Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Conejo Valley Unified School District are proud to honor Ms. Warner as the June 2020 Teacher of the Month!
Ms. Warner promotes a positive environment by sharing her experience and knowledge in a professional and heartfelt manner. She wears many different hats in ceaseless support of the Maple school community. This includes bringing her social and emotional counseling expertise to the entire Maple family by fostering discussions and supporting different standpoints with the hope and expectation that the communication will encourage compassion and good citizenship.
Ms. Warner also successfully supports her students’ varying abilities by differentiating with project-based learning. She is a genuine asset to the Maple students, parents, staff, and colleagues where she has served in various roles; some assigned, many taken on, all with pride and a smile.
She also shares personal travel and global perspectives as classroom lessons for all grade levels, describing other countries and cultures and presenting photographic documentation to bring it all to life.
On Monday, October 26th the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce, and the Conejo Valley Unified School District surprised Ms. Warner with the June 2020 Teacher of the Month recognition during Maple Elementary School’s virtual staff meeting. Dr. Mark McLaughlin, CVUSD Superintendent of Schools, presented Ms. Warner with a “virtual commemorative plaque” (a plaque will be delivered to Ms. Warner). The presentation of this award took place after its originally scheduled date from the spring was canceled due to physical school closures. Thank you Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce for your continued partnership for the Teacher of the Month Recognition program. Congratulation Ms. Warner!
