CVUSD Welcomes Four New School Administrators
This school year we proudly welcome four new administrators to our CVUSD schools:
Bradley Cook, Thousand Oaks High School, Assistant Principal of Athletics
Mr. Cook has more than 15 years of experience as an educator and administrator. He most recently served as the principal of a high school in Texas, and prior to that served as the Assistant Principal of Athletics and Supervision for a high school in Southern California. Tasia Dove, Westlake High School, Assistant Principal of Student Support Services
Ms. Dove has more than seven years of experience as a School Psychologist and most recently served in this role with the Ventura County Office of Education. She also has experience as a general education teacher. Welcome to Westlake High School!
Colleen Shields, Westlake Hills Elementary, Principal
Ms. Shields has served a variety of roles in education in distinct school settings and at all levels of K-5 education. This includes 11 years as an educator in 1st-5th grade classrooms, and 22 years as a principal. Most recently she served as the principal of an esteemed elementary school in San Marino, California. Erica Ultreras, Conejo Elementary and Open Classroom Leadership Magnet (OCLM), Principal
Ms. Ultreras is a knowledgeable, passionate leader with more than 14 years of experience in education. Ms. Ultreras has served as an Assistant Principal for the last six years. She also has experience as a Resource Teacher: TOSA, and Bilingual Elementary Classroom Teacher. She has led academic initiatives such as developing common benchmark assessments, facilitating professional development, and monitoring intervention systems that have improved classroom practices and increased student achievement.
