    Red Ribbon Week provides an opportunity to discuss drug-free choices and positively model for students by encouraging parents, staff, and students to wear symbolic red ribbons to make a visible statement that we are strongly committed to live a healthy life! This year, Red Ribbon Week will be celebrated October 23-31, 2024.

    We are proud to announce the transformation of Madroña Elementary School to Madroña Academy of the Arts and Sciences, where exploration meets excellence! The CVUSD’s newest academy provides cross-curricular connections for students through the arts and sciences, while building hands-on learning capacity and the skills to support future professions in the arts and sciences.

  • RISE with the LA Rams: New Partnership Brings Leadership and Community Building Sessions to the CVUSD

    Just in time for National Bullying Prevention Month, a new partnership with the Los Angeles Rams and the nonprofit RISE called “RISE with the LA Rams: Empowering CVUSD Together,” brought leadership and community building sessions to the CVUSD from September 30 through October 11.
