Congratulations Ben C. of TOHS, First Place Awardee at the California State Science Fair!
Congratulations to 11th grader Ben C., a student in The Center for Advanced Studies and Research at Thousand Oaks High School who earned 1st place in Zoology at the 2024 California State Science Fair. This year there were 857 participants from 344 schools throughout the State presenting 704 projects.

At this “Reality Party,” participants will tour a local Conejo Valley home set up to portray a teen party with youth actors voicing concerns expressed by local teens and young adults. Congratulations Richard Batemen of Newbury Park High - CVUSD’s April 2024 Teacher of the Month!
Richard Bateman spends countless hours attending every possible school-sanctioned event that involves Newbury Park High School students to capture the special moments of their educational journeys through his gift of photography. He is a veteran in the classroom with more than 25 years of teaching in the CVUSD and currently serves as a digital photo and computer graphics teacher.
