CVUSD COVID-19 Dashboard

The Conejo Valley Unified School District and all of our schools are committed to providing accurate and transparent information regarding COVID-19 cases on our campuses, while also maintaining privacy and confidentiality for our students and staff.

The data in the chart below represents the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases among CVUSD students and staff on our campuses (in-person, Blended Teaching & Learning students and on-campus staff). CVUSD is counting all positive confirmed cases for individuals who have been on campus within close contact* of others for CVUSD or school supervised instruction or activities. For the purposes of this dashboard, CVUSD is not counting community-related cases for those individuals who have not come onto campus (for CVUSD or school supervised instruction or activities) within close contact* of other students and staff.

The "Current confirmed cases" listed below are positive cases that have been reported within the last 14 days. The data in this dashboard will be updated regularly and as cases are confirmed. In the event of a positive case, school communities are notified, as appropriate, directly by their school sites.

*Close Contact is defined as any individual who was within 6 feet of an infected person for at least 15 minutes starting from 2 days before illness onset (or, for asymptomatic patients, 2 days prior to positive specimen collection) until the time the patient is isolated.

In the event there is a confirmed case, Ventura County Public Health (VCPH) will be notified. The school site (students/families and employees) will receive notification via e-mail of a confirmed COVID-19 case on their campus, as appropriate.

What Families Can Do to Limit the Spread

It is going to take a united effort to keep our students, staff and families safe. In addition to health and safety measures taken on our campuses, we encourage families to be proactive and to reinforce the importance of hand-washing, physical distancing, and face coverings to limit the spread of COVID-19. This includes anyone with COVID-19 symptoms staying home and following appropriate guidelines prior to returning to a CVUSD school campus.
