Maple Elementary students gathered on Monday, October 28th for a special Unity Tree Dedication event. The event, part of the school’s participation in National Bullying Prevention Month, featured a school-wide assembly that emphasized the importance of being kind to one another, and concluded with students and staff placing rocks, decorated with messages of Kindness, Acceptance, and Inclusion, around the base of the landmark Unity Tree, creating a colorful and permanent reminder that everyone is welcome at Maple Elementary!
Please join CVUSD administrators and teachers for a special Information Night on Monday, November 4th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at University Center (2801 Atlas Avenue) where important information regarding transitional kindergarten (TK), kindergarten and school choice enrollment for the 2020-2021 academic year will be shared.
At Conejo Valley Unified School District we have a right fit for every student. For families who would like to enroll their student in a CVUSD school other than their assigned neighborhood school, this may be completed via the School Choice Application process. Families who are interested in enrolling their child in transitional kindergarten must also complete a School Choice Application.
On Friday, November 1, 2019 at 8am, the School Choice Application for the 2020-2021 school year will be available for families to complete online.
Congratulations to Sequoia Middle School 8th grade student Ananya on being named the A.I. Avatar Mouse Microproject Competition Grand Prize Winner for her project: Cello Avatar.
During the month of October communities across the nation campaign to raise awareness and educate people on the long term effects that bullying has on children. The goal of recognizing National Bullying Prevention Month in the Conejo Valley Unified School District is to encourage parents, students, and staff to unite against bullying and share the message that no one deserves to be bullied.
