The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) has awarded Conejo Valley Unified School District the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting (COE). ASBO International’s COE recognizes districts that have met the program’s high standards for financial reporting and transparency. The school district earned the Certificate of Excellence for its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ended 2020.
The Conejo Valley Unified School District is seeking individuals who are passionate about marketing and communications to serve on the inaugural Communications Committee. The purpose of the Conejo Valley Unified School District Communications Committee is to discuss ongoing districtwide communication efforts and initiatives, and for members to work collaboratively and creatively with the District's Communications team to promote the extensive offerings and unique opportunities available to students in our CVUSD schools and programs. Applicants must be parents/guardians of a current CVUSD student and/or an employee of CVUSD.
The Conejo Valley Unified School District is pleased to announce the formation of a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning and Others Advisory Council (LGBTQ+ AC). The purpose of the new LGBTQ+ AC is to advise the District on strategies and actions that can assist the District in becoming more welcoming, inclusive and informed in supporting our LGBTQ+ students in their academics, extracurriculars and social emotional development in school.
The Conejo Valley Unified School District is excited to announce the creation of the African American Parent Advisory Council (AAPAC). CVUSD recognizes the importance of serving our African American students and families, and the creation of the AAPAC will provide opportunities for families to engage with district staff, and collaborate to develop a shared understanding of family and community needs. An informational webinar will be held on Monday, August 30th at 6:00 PM to provide further information about the AAPAC.
There will be a "pop-up" COVID-19 Mobile Vaccine Clinic at Glenwood Elementary School (1135 Windsor Drive, Thousand Oaks) on Saturday, August 28th from 9:30am - 11:30am. The Pfizer vaccine will be available for individuals 12 years of age and older and the Janssen vaccine will be available for individuals ages 18 years of age and older. No appointment needed.
