Conejo Valley Unified School District Selects New Board Officers
Board President, Vice President and Clerk chosen via nomination, majority vote process
During the Tuesday, December 6, 2016 Board of Education Meeting for the Conejo Valley Unified School District the Board took part in its annual reorganization of office positions.
The purpose of the reorganization is for the following Board of Education office positions to be selected: Board President, Board Vice President and Board Clerk.
Through their nomination and election process the following Board Members were voted into office:
Mike Dunn, Board President
John Andersen, Board Vice President
Sandee Everett, Board Clerk
The Board Members will hold these office positions for one year.
During her Superintendent’s Comments, Dr. Bonitatibus spoke on behalf of CVUSD staff as she congratulated each of the new Board of Education officers. She said she is looking forward to their focused and caring leadership, detail-oriented governance, and the opportunity for continued positive and proactive collaboration with staff. As a leadership team, they remain dedicated to making decisions in the best interest of all students.
Mike Dunn enthusiastically assumed his role as Board President saying, “With everyone’s help, we are going to make a great school district even better.”
