The Los Angeles Rams Bring Holidays for Heroes Military Appreciation Campaign to Glenwood Elementary School
Rams players, Cheerleaders, team mascot Rampage, and staff visited Glenwood Elementary School today to get creative and engage students by personalizing holiday cards of appreciation for active military members and veterans.
Rams players Michael Brockers, Eric Weddle, Nick Scott, and Vitas Hrynkiewicz collaborated with students of all grade levels in decorating cards, and writing messages of thanks.
Rams Defensive Linemen Michael Brockers and Aaron Donald are featured on this year’s holiday card that students customized. The card reads: “Our defense defends the goal line. Our military defends our country. Thank you for your service.”
This special event is part of the Los Angeles Rams year-round military appreciation efforts, and Salute to Service Week, presented by California Resources Corporation, which culminates with the team’s Salute to Service Game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night Football on November 17. Throughout the week (Nov. 11-17), the Rams will partner with veteran service organizations and non-profits to support the military community and to honor, empower, and connect with service members, veterans and their families. Since 2011, the NFL’s Salute to Service efforts have raised more than $34 million for military and non-profit organizations.
Thank you Los Angeles Rams for visiting our Glenwood Elementary School, and for partnering with us to share our appreciation to military heroes!
