Bennett Wutkee Announced as New Principal of Acacia Magnet School

Bennett Wutkee, Assistant Principal at Newbury Park High School, will be moving into the role of Principal of Acacia Magnet School.

Wutkee has worked in the District since 2001, teaching Spanish at Colina Middle School and Westlake High School for 7 years, and coaching Varsity Baseball. He has also served as the Dean of Students at Redwood Middle School, overseeing a variety of programs for students and teachers, including the implementation of Special Education plans. Wutkee has also served as the Assistant Principal of Athletics at Westlake High School, overseeing the school’s highly successful athletic programs.

Over the past five years, Wutkee has served as the Assistant Principal of Instruction at Newbury Park High School. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Marketing from Brigham Young University, as well as a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from California State University, Northridge.
