Sycamore Canyon Middle School Celebration BBQ

Sycamore Canyon Middle School celebrated the end of the year with a BBQ as part of their Renaissance Rewards program today!

Students from grades 6 through 8 had hamburgers for lunch (or a choice of veggie burgers!)--hot off the grill--along with chips, a choice of fruit juice or milk and fruit, all provided by CVUSD's Child Nutrition Services (CNS).

The Renaissance Program at middle schools encourages all students to achieve at their highest level, maintain positive citizenship, and exhibit strong work habits by providing periodic incentives and recognizing their positive efforts.

Students can earn Gold, Silver or Bronze Renaissance cards by performing at various levels of expectation for a quarter of trimester.

Thank you to CVUSD staff for manning the hot grill on this very sunny day--and to all the students who put forth their best efforts! Congratulations to all the recipients!
