Conejo Valley High School’s Cameron White Recognized as CVUSD’s November Teacher of the Month

Cameron White creates a caring, and welcoming classroom environment where students are encouraged to ask questions, celebrate successes, and feel genuinely cared for. He is a Math, and CTE teacher at Conejo Valley High School, and a 17-year veteran educator with the District.

Mr. White is a true motivator for the students in their credit acquisition, voluntarily opening his classroom before school, during lunch and after school to help students achieve their academic goals. The Conejo Valey Unified School District along with the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce are proud to honor him as the November 2018 CVUSD Teacher of the Month!

He has been instrumental in the success of the school’s career and technical education program, leading the development of the school’s pathways, expanding the on-site ROP classes, promoting the integration of career-focused learning and projects into the core curriculum, and serving as the Career and Technical Education Coordinator.

He is a team player focused on continuous improvement, supporting the school’s vision, and actively influencing peers through his/her commitment and energy to uphold the same professionalism, leadership and dedication to student success.

Mr. White often serves as the “go to” person on campus, offering advice to colleagues on how to deal with tricky situations or move new ideas forward. He Is truly an asset to Conejo Valley High School’s students, parents, staff and colleagues, where he tirelessly drives the vision of the school forward and always places the needs of the students first.

To celebrate Mr. White’s November Teacher of the Month recognition members from the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce and CVUSD Superintendent, Dr. Mark McLaughlin presented him with a commemorative plaque recognizing his achievement at a special surprise celebration on Tuesday, December 18th. Additionally, members of the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce congratulated him with gifts from their local businesses.
