CVUSD Welcomes New Director of Maintenance and Operations, David Riccardi

Conejo Valley Unified School District is pleased to welcome David Riccardi as its new Director of Maintenance and Operations.

Mr. Riccardi brings more than 25 years of managerial and directorial experience in operations, project management, maintenance and development to his new role with CVUSD.

As the Director of Maintenance and Operations he will, under the direction of the Deputy Superintendent, Business Services, plan, coordinate, direct, and evaluate the District's building facilities and grounds maintenance and operations, the utility conservation programs, custodial services, and fleet management.

Mr. Riccardi most recently held the position of Project Manager-Development at Birmingham Community Charter School and Palisades Charter High School. In this role he directly lead and managed all operational activities for facility engineering and ground maintenance, custodial services, and campus wide utility installation and repair amongst other key responsibilities.

“We are excited to have Mr. Riccardi lead our Maintenance and Operations team,” said Dr. Victor Hayek, Deputy Superintendent, Business Services. “His expertise, and unique qualifications will be a valuable asset to our schools and community.”

Mr. Riccardi has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Sciences from Lesley University. He also served in the U.S. Army for ten years, and attended the US Army Infantry School in Ft. Benning, Georgia.
