CVUSD Celebrates Red Ribbon Week: October 23rd to October 31st

The Board of Education of the Conejo Valley Unified School District supports the Red Ribbon Campaign and the proclamation of October 23-31, 2021, as Red Ribbon Week in the CVUSD! This week, districtwide, students and staff are encouraged to participate in campaign specific activities, making a visible statement that we, as a community, are strongly committed to live a healthy life.

Californians for Drug Free Youth first began the Red Ribbon Week campaign in 1985 with a mission to encourage students to stay drug-free. This year, the National Red Ribbon Week theme is “Drug Free Looks Like Me!” Individuals, families, and businesses can join Conejo schools in displaying their commitment to healthy lifestyles by wearing red and/or a red ribbon during Red Ribbon Week.

The Board of Education approved the Adoption of Resolution #21/22-03 for the proclamation of Red Ribbon Week at their regularly scheduled Tuesday, October 5th meeting. Click here to view a copy of the resolution.
