Free WiFi Available at Select CVUSD Schools’ Parking Stalls
Internet connection is key to distance learning for CVUSD students, and Conejo Valley Unified School District is proud to announce a new, free way for students to digitally connect.
As of this morning, Thursday, May 14th families may find specially marked parking spaces at five CVUSD schools where they will be able to easily connect to the internet for free. The school sites are:
Each parking stall with access to internet connection has a special WiFi indicator painted in it. Please click on the above school names to view a map of the parking stalls that have the WiFi indicator painted on it.
Students with district technology devices will auto connect to the internet when they are within a marked parking stall. Students using non-district technology devices will need to join the CVUSD WiFi network with their student's username and password.
The District requests that all students and families that utilize these parking stalls to connect to the internet maintain appropriate social distancing measures in accordance with mandates from the Ventura County Public Health.
“Innovation is key for students and the District to be successful during this time of distance learning,” said Dr. Victor Hayek, Deputy Superintendent of Business Services. “We continue to evaluate new and creative ways we can support the technology infrastructure needs of our students and families.”
Thank you to the District’s Technology and Maintenance and Operations teams for working in collaboration to provide this additional, new resource to the families CVUSD proudly serves.
