California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS)
Students in grades seven, nine and eleven are being asked to participate in the survey
Every two years the California Healthy Kids Survey is administered to students across California.
This year Conejo Valley Unified School District students in grades seven, nine and eleven are being asked to participate in the survey.
The purpose of the California Department of Education (CDE) sponsored California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) is to obtain information from students about their knowledge, attitudes and behavior that affect learning. It deals with such issues as truancy, safety, harassment, substance use, school connectedness, and learning supports. It is anonymous and is designed so that no one can be identified from the data.
Parents are asked to give permission for their student(s) to participate. View the permission slip here. Parents can also review the surveys here.
