On Saturday, February 22nd, the annual LA Basin Odyssey of the Mind Regional competition came to the Conejo! For the fourth year in a row this tournament was hosted at Westlake High School. Teams participated in the day’s event from schools in Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Los Angeles County.
Congratulations to Thousand Oaks High School sophomore Anushka on being selected as a National Center for Women and Information Technology (NCWIT) Central California Rising Star for Aspirations in Computing 2020! Anushka was selected for this award because of the strength of her computing aspirations and accomplishments, as well as her leadership ability, academic history, and plans for post-secondary education.
CVUSD parents/guardians are invited to attend upcoming Preview Nights for Proposed Grade 9 Health Education Supplemental Materials on February 26th and March 3rd.
