The Conejo Cares Family Wellness Program (CCFWP) is very excited to launch a brand new platform called the Passport to Health & Wellness. This new program provides all CVUSD employees the opportunity to keep track of their healthy lifestyle activities through our online passport-style system. The passport will allow you to earn points when participating in various healthy activities (e.g. Walk for Healthy Schools, Thrive Across America, health screenings, joining an organized fitness program, taking a healthy eating class, etc.). Registration/login for the Passport is required and is now active by visiting: www.conejocarespassport.org.

Our program will include three rounds of prizes to reward your involvement throughout the year. Have fun, improve your health and get free stuff. Only current and permanent CVUSD employees are eligible for prizes. Individuals will receive prizes based on their point total at the end of each round.

The mission of the Conejo Valley Unified School District "Conejo Cares Family Wellness Program" Committee (CCFWP Committee), is to promote individual and family wellness among all employees and their families through education, prevention, early detection, and better access to comprehensive health resources.

Ultimately our vision is to foster adoption of a wellness culture across the District, and to offer such benefits as improved health, greater feelings of well-being, heightened personal performance, reduced sick leave, and reduced medical expenditure.

The Wellness Committee was established to provide all employees and their families the opportunity to enhance total well-being. The Committee will provide information regarding opportunities for participation in programs and activities which promote mental, emotional, and physical well-being to all employees.

An important subject of discussion by the Committee is effective employee communication strategies on matters pertaining to the business of the Committee.

Areas that are not the responsibility of the Committee are Anthem Blue Cross and Kaiser Permanente health benefit plan changes, rates, and implementation timelines.
